Salespanel identifies visitors in two ways: Individuals and Companies
Individuals ( Leads ): Individuals are visitors who have visited your website and have been captured through a lead capture channel. This can be forms, lead magnets, live chat, email marketing campaigns. When they are captured, Salespanel automatically enriches them with profile data just from their emails. This includes name, job role, company, company size, etc. The leads are also tracked in real-time.
This data helps you:

- Qualify leads based on profile and behavior.
- Automatically sync MQLs to CRM.
- Share data with sales to help them understand the lead motivation.
- Generate reports.
Individuals are shown in the Leads section on your dashboard.
Companies ( Accounts ): Salespanel identifies companies who are showing interest right on their first visit even when they stay anonymous. These companies are logged and Salespanel provides you their firmographic information like company name, industry, employee size, contact information, etc.
This data helps you:
- Generate more leads by identifying valuable anonymous visitors and reaching out to them.
- Analyze marketing performance with better data.
- Run account-based marketing campaigns to prospects who match with your ideal customer profile.
- Qualify visitors in real-time and show personalized content to qualified leads.
Companies are shown in the Visiting Companies section on your dashboard.
Salespanel captures this data using the real-time tracking code. This tracking code also provides you a client-side Javascript library. You can use this to identify individual leads for tracking purposes. As soon as you identify them, their anonymous session will become identified with all information available and they will be available for all kinds of workflows. You can also identify manually any visitor from the detail page from the dashboard. Please read our implementation guide to learn more about it.
