Overview/introduction
Pipedrive integration provides the same value a customer receives in Salespanel to a Pipedrive CRM user. The CRM user, mainly the sales representatives don’t have to come to Salespanel just to look at what the visitors are up to and what milestones they have achieved.
Salespanel syncs important lead attributes like lead score, quality grade, lead source, acquisition medium, web and email activity, and key lead intelligence in real-time
As all this data is synced as custom fields in Pipedrive, the CRM users can create a highly-specialized list view of qualified contacts.
What data is Synced from SP to Pipedrive
The Salespanel integration for Pipedrive syncs important lead attributes including custom activities to Pipedrive in real-time. You can access this data in Salespanel's app panel and through custom fields on contact's detail view.
Salespanel sends lead's activities on your website, when was their most recent activity, leads temperature, lead's source, lead's score, their tags, UTM parameters, and custom activities. Based on these pieces of information, your sales reps can set the course of offer communications and deal progress.
How to Install the integration
To set up the integration, visit the Salespanel app listing on Pipedrive marketplace while logged in and click on Install Now. Follow through the process and the real-time sync will start immediately. Once you have activated the integration, Pipedrive will redirect you back to the integration settings page on Salespanel. To set up how Salespanel will sync lead data with Pipedrive, head on to the Pipedrive sync settings page.
After successful installation, you can access the sync settings through the sidebar navigation.
Pipedrive sync settings
Salespanel allows you to configure which data to sync with the Pipedrive CRM. Your CRM users can use this data to create list views, plan future communications, and other Sales and Marketing efforts.
You can find them on the Pipedrive sync settings page. Let's have a look at how each setting works.
Create a new Pipedrive contact if it doesn’t already exist
When Salespanel is syncing data to Pipedrive, it will first check if the contact exists or not. If the contact exists, then it will update that contact. And if the contact doesn't exist, it will create a new contact and then proceed with sync. If you wish to sync data for only the existing contacts, disable this setting.
Assign Default contact owner
When you sync data to Pipedrive, you can choose which Pipedrive user will be the owner of the synced contacts. You can add or remove users from your Pipedrive team on Settings > Company > Manage users page.
Sync lead activity data to Pipedrive contact feed
You can choose if you want to sync the lead's activity on your website with Pipedrive CRM. By default, Salespanel syncs lead activity as a "Pipedrive activity".
How do you want to sync lead's activities with Pipedrive
Salespanel allows you to choose if you want to sync lead's activities as a "Pipedrive activity" or a "Pipedrive note".
Sync lead's Medium field
You can choose to sync the medium through which the lead came to your website. This can either be the UTM Medium parameter or Salespanel's ML algorithm will detect the medium automatically.
Sync lead's UTM campaign field
You can sync the campaign through which the lead came to your website.
Sync lead's First Activity field
Salespanel allows you to sync the date and time of the first activity the lead performed on your website.
Sync lead's Last Activity field
Salespanel allows you to sync the date and time of the most recent activity the lead performed on your website.
Sync lead's profile link on Salespanel
You can choose to sync the Salespanel profile link of the lead. This helps your CRM users access the lead's Salespanel profile quickly where they can find additional information that is not synced.
Deep sync with Pipedrive
Just like how Salespanel syncs lead information to Pipedrive CRM, it can also retrieve information from the CRM. Activate deep-sync with Pipedrive to fetch information about pipelines, deal stages, and deals information. Salespanel uses these fields for lead qualification via Segments and Lead Scoring. Your team members can access this information on lead's detail page.
