Salespanel’s direct integration provides a lot of customization and flexibility. But, if you want to create use case-specific sophisticated workflows, you can do that using Zapier or Salespanel API. You can create a data bridge between Salespanel, Pipedrive, and other tools and trigger automated systems. For example, you can create a system where your sales team is notified in real-time through Slack when leads are marketing qualified and deals are automatically created on your Pipedrive account.
In this article, we will cover how you can do this with Zapier as it is the easiest process and can be done without any coding. If you are a developer and want details on Salespanel API, please check out our RESTful API documentation and get in touch with us.
Creating a workflow with Zapier
Zapier is supported by Salespanel, Pipedrive, and all commonly used applications. If you are unfamiliar with Zapier, please check out the Zapier section on our helpdesk.
On Zapier, search for Salespanel and you will have three trigger options that can be used for your workflow: Contact Identified, Contact Qualified for a Feed (Segment), and Visiting Company Identified. The trigger Contact Qualified for a Feed (Segment) will be beneficial in use cases where you want to trigger automation for qualified leads or when leads reach a score. Create a Segment on Salespanel with your desired criteria for automation and create the Segment.
Now on the Action step, search for Pipedrive. You will have these options:
If you want deals to be created, select Create Deal or select Create Person if you want a contact to be created. You can add further steps for different tools. For example, if you want these leads to also be added to MailChimp or Convertkit at the same time, click on add step and add the action for MailChimp/Convertkit.
