The California Consumer Privacy Act 2018 (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act 2020 (“CPRA”) provide certain rights to residents of California. The CCPA and CPRA are collectively referred to as “CCPA” below.
This policy notice describes how Salespanel ("Salespanel", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares the Personal Information of California residents in our capacity as a "business" under the CCPA and their rights under the CCPA.
Salespanel's CCPA Policy came into effect on 1st January 2024.
Scope
This CCPA Policy applies solely to the visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California ("consumers" or "you"). If you have any questions about whether this CCPA Policy applies to you, please contact us using the methods described below.
This CCPA Policy does not apply to Personal Information we collect, use, and share on behalf of our customers as a "service provider" under the CCPA. Please refer to section Rights below for further information.
Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this notice.
We also reserve the right to modify this privacy statement, so it will always stay in compliance with the current legal requirements under CCPA and the changes brought in our Privacy Policy, e.g. when introducing new services, In which case, your future visits to our website will be subject to the updated Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your data within the meaning of Section 1798.140(t) of the CCPA.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California you may contact us with regard to the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Right to Know: At or before the time of collection, you have a right to receive notice of our practices, including the categories of personal data and sensitive personal data to be collected, the purposes for which it is collected and used, whether such personal data is “sold or shared” and for how long personal data is retained.
Right to Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we may hold on you for the past twelve (12) months. You may submit up to two (2) requests per year of access to your personal data.
Right to Correct: You have the right to correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale of Personal Data: For individuals sixteen (16) years or older, you have the right to opt-out of sale of personal data we may hold on you. You can exercise this right at any time by. For individuals between thirteen (13) to sixteen (16) years old, you have the right to opt-in to the sale of personal data we may hold on you.
Right to Deletion: You also have the right to ask us to delete personal data we may hold on you or restrict how it is used. There may be exceptions to the right to deletion which, if applicable, we will set out for you in response to your request.
Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Data: Where applicable, you have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal data for any purposes other than to provide the services you request or as otherwise permitted by law.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California Consumer Privacy Act rights.
Personal Information collected, used, and shared by Salespanel
The categories of Personal Information we collect are described below by reference to the statutory categories of Personal Information specified in the CCPA:
- Identifiers (excluding online identifiers) such as first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, avatars, company name, your role in your company, social media profile information; photo ID that you provide if we ask you to verify your identity; and document signatures
- Commercial information such as records of your transactions with us and services considered
- Financial information such as your credit card information, billing and mailing address, and other payment-related information
- Online identifiers such as operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model; browser type; screen resolution; IP address; unique device identifiers; and Salespanel-assigned user identifiers
- Internet or network information such as the website you visited before browsing to the Salespanel site; how long you spent on a page or screen; navigation paths between pages or screens; session date and time; activity status (including first seen, last seen, last heard from and last contacted); pages viewed; links clicked; language preferences; tags applied within customer accounts; and other information about your interaction with our sites and services, including the information described in our Cookie Policy
- Geolocation data the approximate location associated with your IP address
- Professional or employment information such as your job title and organizational affiliation
- California Customer Records (listed in California Civil Code section 1798.80) such as the Professional or employment information, Financial information, Commercial information, and Identifiers listed above
- Inferences that are drawn from any of the above information to create a profile reflecting your preferences, characteristics, and behavior
Some of this information you provide voluntarily when you interact with the Salespanel Services and Sites, or when you attend an online or offline event. Other types of information may be collected automatically from your devices, such as device data and service data. From time to time, we may also receive personal data about you from third-party sources such as contact enrichment and lead generation providers, targeted online advertising providers, the event organizers, our identity resolution and insight management provider, and our Geolocation IP intelligence provider.
The business and/or commercial purposes for which Salespanel uses this Personal Information are described in the section "How we use the information we collect" of our Privacy Policy.

How to Exercise Your California Privacy Rights
We will need to verify your identity to process your information, access, and deletion requests("consumer request") and reserve the right to confirm your California residency. To verify your identity, we may require you to provide government identification, give a declaration as to your identity, and/or provide additional information. These rights are not absolute, and in some instances, we may decline your request as permitted by law.
You can designate an “authorized agent” to make requests to exercise your rights on your behalf under the CCPA. We will clarify that any “authorized agent” has your written permission in making that request. We may also contact you directly to verify your identity.

If you provide us with proof of identity containing information that does not match our records, we may request further proof of identity from you.
California “Shine the Light” Privacy Rights
Residents of California can ask us to provide a list of the types of personal data we have disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the identity of those third parties. We do not generally disclose personal data as defined under the California “Shine the Light” law. To the extent that we share email addresses and IP addresses with third parties in connection with data enrichment that could be covered, you may opt-out by emailing us at: support(at)salespanel.io with “Shine the Light” in the subject line.
