You receive notifications from Salespanel about your visitors through email and browser. You can also receive notifications through 3rd party applications if you have set them up (eg: Slack).
Different Types of Notifications and Changing Configurations
Browser Notifications (General): Browser notifications are sent through the Salespanel browser extension. Browser notifications are generated when leads are identified, when companies are identified, when leads open emails tracked with Gmail plugin, and when leads become active after some time of inactivity. Browser notifications are also generated for Segments. You can change the settings for these from your notification preferences. If you are a team member, please ask the account owner for assistance. Alternatively, you can also disable the chrome extension if needed. This will, however, remove your Gmail tracking functionality.
Emails (General): Email notifications are sent to you and your team to update you about your visitors. Notifications are generated when visitors are identified. Salespanel also sends you a daily digest of all identified leads and companies. You can change the settings for these from your notification preferences. If you are a team member, please ask the account owner for assistance.
Segment Notifications: Notifications for Segments are generated when visitors qualify for a Segment. These notifications are sent through email and browser extension. You can also change the settings from your notification preferences. You can also customize notifications for individual Segments while setting them up.
Notifications from 3rd Party Applications: Notifications from 3rd party applications can be generated if you have set up integrations. For example, if you receive notifications from your email software when visitors are added and you have set up an integration to create visitors, you will receive notifications. To control them, refer to support documentation of the software. You can also set up integrations to message you or your team on Slack (or any other platform) through Zapier. The settings for this can be changed by editing the workflow.
